Parent Coordinator
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to our new website! My name is Ms. Russell, and I am the Parent Coordinator here at the Business Technology Early College High School (BTECH). I am part of the team that is responsible for fostering and maintaining a positive, respectful, and responsive school environment for all families.
You are just as important to your child’s education as we are. Your child will receive the best education when you and our committed teachers work collaboratively as a team. Research suggests that families' involvement in their child's education yields high levels of student achievement. It is a combination of a parent’s enthusiasm, support, and involvement, and a teacher's ability to deliver instruction, which is the foundation for your student's success.
Your participation at BTECH is critical, as you are their first teachers and are vested in their success. I look forward to seeing you at both our academic and non-academic parent workshops/events throughout the year. Therefore, in order to have a successful school year, we need active parents to support our school, our families, and our students.
