Dear BTECH Students and Families,
I hope you and your loved ones are doing well.
As you may already know, NYC Public Schools announced that tomorrow, 6/9/23 will be a remote learning day due to the ongoing hazardous air quality event throughout New York City.
Students can expect to virtually follow a modified schedule. Teachers will be posting a variety of asynchronous tasks and will be available for support during their live office hours. The schedule is below. All teachers will post their links in their google classroom and it is expected that students are logging into their Google Classrooms and interacting with and submitting assignments.
By 8:00am, tomorrow morning, students will receive this attendance link via email. All students must complete this form, in addition to interacting with and submitting assignments to be considered present for school.
Additionally, tomorrow our school counselors will be holding virtual check-in sessions for anyone who might need some extra support or extra help during this time. The schedule for check-ins is listed below:
Ms. Shields SEL Counselors/Mandated 8:50-9:30am
Ms. Spoto, 9th Grade Counselor - 9:35-10:15am
Ms. Perlmutter, 10th Grade Counselor - 10:20-11:00am
Ms. Watson, 11th Grade Counselor- 11:50-12:30pm
Ms. Rivera, 12th Grade Counselor - 12:35-1:15pm
Zoom links will be shared in their google classroom
The admin team and I will be available via this Zoom Link 7:45 am-9:00 am, if there are any questions that arise for staff, students or their families.
