BTECH students range in academic ability and hold a strong dedication to their individual growth academically, socially and emotionally while building college and career readiness skills.
BTECH is one of eleven 9-14 Early College and Career High Schools, also called NYC P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools) Grades 9-14 schools in the city. We offer a six-year program where students can earn a high school diploma and a career-specific Associate in Applied Science through Queensborough Community College plus gain valuable work experience through internships and work based learning experiences.
Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement courses, begin taking dual-enrollment courses in the Spring of their Sophomore year (pending budget) at our college partner, Queensborough Community College and develop Career skills in Business Technology through the Amazon Engineer High School curriculum and work based learning opportunities with our industry partner SAP.
