Principal's Message
Dear BTECH Families,
Welcome back to Business Technology Early College High School, a place where our students learn what they are capable of and then go out and prove it.
Let me begin with news worth celebrating. BTECH is a school committed to excellence. Our scholars show up every day, earning their credits on time, walking across the graduation stage, and stepping into college classrooms and career pathways ready for what comes next. Attendance. Credit accumulation. Graduation. College and career readiness. Those are the measures that change a life, and our students are meeting them. Last year, we achieved a 97% graduation rate, 91% yearly attendance and 97% of our scholars @ QCC attained their college credits.
We are proud of that. We are not finished.
At BTECH we call this Rams Pride. BTECH Rams Pride is how we elevate excellence. It is the expectation that every learner belongs here, contributes here, and leaves here prepared. It is why our teachers stay late, why our families answer the phone, and why our graduates come back to tell the next class it can be done.
That belief lives in our Be Known approach. No student should move through four years of high school unseen. Relationships between students, teachers, and families are the foundation of every academic gain we have made, and we will keep asking you what your child needs so that we can meet them where they are.
Our graduates carry five core values into the world. They are Collaborators. They are Resilient. They are Advocates for Change. They are Focused and Goal Oriented. They are Tenacious. Every experience we design is built to draw those qualities out.
The academic program is demanding, and it is meant to be. Students take Advanced Placement courses and earn college credit while they are still in high school. They also participate in co-curricular experiences to ensure we develop the whole child. Rigor and joy are not in competition here. Our students deserve both.
This website is one more way we stay connected with you. You will find timely information, school updates, and the resources you need to partner with us this year. Consider it an open door.
We renew our pledge to communicate clearly and often, and to create real opportunities for you to be part of your child's high school experience. When you receive an invitation from us, please accept it. Our best work happens when families are in the room.
Here's to an outstanding 2026 to 2027 school year. Let us go be great together.
Educationally,
Principal Henry
