Principal's Message

Dear BTECH Families,

 

Welcome to Business Technology Early College High School's newly launched website!

 

Our intention is that this website will serve as a resource for our greater community to Stay Connected. It will provide timely, relevant and important information to guide you this year as we work towards high levels of success for each learner.

 

BTECH is a very special place where we strive to ensure that all students feel apart of our school family. This year, we are launching a "Be Known" Campaign because we recognize the importance of relationships between students, teachers, and families. We will look to you for support as we learn more about how to best meet your child's needs.

 

We have done a great deal of reflection to ensure our program is true to its vision and mission. Our goal is that each graduate will embody our core values to be a great Collaborator, Resilient, Advocate for Change, Focused/Goal-Oriented and Tenacious. We will strive each day to create experiences that will draw out these values.

 

Our academic program is rigorous and fosters a curious, creative and innovative mind, while providing a balanced high school experience of co-curricular activities, SEL program, Community Days, PSAL team sports, clubs, electives, Advanced Placement courses, career readiness experiences and much more. We are confident that we are graduating students that are college, and career ready and leaders well-equipped to contribute in their communities.

 

We will continue to pledge to increase and improve our communication with parents/guardians, and provide opportunities for parents/guardians to participate in their child's high school experience. It is my hope that each parent/guardian makes an effort to take us up on the many invitations we will send you this year.
